So, i've been noticing players calling the shaman "noob shaman" sometimes. It's offensive, since the shaman may not be super good at "shamaning" (I bet that isn't even a word but, thats what I call people that are doing shaman things.) This should stop.. it's not like everybody's going to have the talent of being a good shaman.

I wish I didn't have to say this, but it can't be stopped. The world is bad, no matter how many nice people there are. People will insult even those who are considered pro, because those people are rude.

If they insult you, ignore those brats. They aren't worth the attention. In fact, the attention is what they feed on! So DON'T FEED THEM.

I think everyone have noticed people calling the shamans of noob, it's like a part of the game, and as far as i know it's not punishable. The word noob stands for Newbie, when somebody's called a shaman noob, hes just giving his opinion, we are free to use it in the game. It's not like they are going to stop calling shamans noob, because that's something of the nature of the game. After a little time of practice you can get more skills and be a good shaman

noob also means not so good at something. Basically, the shaman is everything on a certain map. People scream NOOB SHAM! even if they are building well. So if someone calls a shaman a noob while they are building, that means they dont want that sham, POOF, if they dissapear they would immediately take it back, unless they can pro the map themselves

In American English sometimes "noob" is considered rude while "newb" simply means newbie. I stopped playing on the US servers because I discovered people on the international English forums have been a lot nicer to this noob/newb. :)

Lets Stop the bad words by making new mods

If there are 20+ mice in a room, probably about 5 of them will call the shaman a 'noob' if he failed building. That can't be stopped.. and most of the people got used to that.

Well this is a problem not only in Transformice but in many games
And many people are encouraged to leave those games because people say they are not good at what they do
It isn't a bad word either so mods can't really mute someone for calling someone a noob, right?
Even if they did, mod number is many times smaller than rooms with many players, so please don't accuse mods for this.
Aslude's got the right attitude in my opinion, and it's true that it is not the end of the world. And as Charbelsa said, people got used to that or should get used to it, also people should be ambitious and despite being called noobs, they should practice to not be called noobs anymore.

Honestly, I think being called a noob is a rite of passage. When I first joined I was called a noob. It didn't really me at all because I was a noob. Also, noob isn't really meant to be an insult. It came from newbie, which is a word for new players. I've been playing this game for four years and I still get called noob sometimes and I don't care. You all need to chill.

It's funny, if you watch the people who call the shamans noob a lot of the time the can't build or shaman to save their souls. I always pay attention to the persons skills and look at their profile. Advanced players rarely insult shamans. You kinda of have to be a noob to call someone else a noob.

This is part of the game and unfortunately it will be here for a while. "Noob" is a word as mentioned above. Plus, normally It's not the "pros" that usually call others "noob", it is the people who are also "noob" that call out other "noobs".

Edit : also, as the people saying above, its normally the lower levels that call shamans noob, they do this to motivate themselves, so that they think they are not the only new people here, its just a natural way to motivate, just think of this when you hear a new player say "Noob sham"
they are saying "I hope I am not the only one this low leveled"
Still, I have never seen anyone call me "Noob sham" and such, its because I barely shammed in my newbie days :3
Instead I practiced all the sham stuff, and bloons were my main priority.
