everything was just normal, grass was grass and water was water, and when I went into prophunt it was just plain blue and white blocks. I logged off and went into room 1 and it still happened. I'm wondering whats happening...

Options -> Activate minimalist mode

Try checking your options and make sure that you didn't activate minimalist mode.

EDIT: Ah then i guess i failed if that vv works.

Actually, if you suddenly began having this issue, the thing you're gonna want to uncheck is "automatic optimisations." ;)

It works! I was testing it out one day wondering what it was and it must have happened a few days later.

Lol I remember my first months of tfm when I was just exploring and when this happened one time I was stuck with no background and I was like "HALP I CAN'T SEE BACKGROUND" And somebody told me about minimalist mode and I was like "Oh ok xD"

Ah, the good ol' days when I was a newbie...
