it's not funny. i would like some help, and i would expect an actual refund of some sort since this is a problem and i'm very unhappy.

This has never been a problem in the four years of this game's existence, so as much as I hate to say this, you must've clicked the wrong thing.
Also you won't be able to be refunded as there's no proof this was a "bug" or intentional.

I'm inclined to believe you. I've never heard of this happening, but new bugs occur every week. However, as Haruhitastic said, there's no proof that will support your claim. I'm sorry, but I don't think you'll be getting a refund.
There's definitely a purpose to doing it intentionally and then asking for a refund. If you were refunded, you would have both furs. Double the profit. I'm optimistically hoping this isn't the case.

I have friends who bought stuff yesterday and the day before and haven't experienced this. I haven't experienced this. There's been no server reboots or obvious server patches since the addition of the new items which cancels out the idea of it being a bug with a new update (also no updates happen on weekends except for the case of game breaking bugs, which haven't existed with this update). If this was happening you can bet your sweet ass there would be a ton of angry topics with angry kids begging for their fraises back.

And that's why I'm believing you simply messed up. And yeah, like Neerva pointed out there's a damn good reason to do such. Or it could be a case of "blah I didn't like it, let's make a topic faking a bug so admins will notice me and will take the item back and I can buy the other!"
