Before the new update you could use the tab key to switch through chat tabs whenever.
Now you can only use it when there is a new post in that chat tab, pretty annoying.

I don't know if this is an intended change or not but I pray it's the latter.

Tab behaves differently on purpose. Pressing it brings you to the next tab that has unread messages. There currently is no keyboard hotkey that selects tabs that don't have new messages.

If that really is the case they need to change it back and add the new hotkey to tilde because honestly, removing something useful that's been for almost forever and replacing it with something LESS useful makes no sense.

Or better yet, like most games, have a hotkey mapping system to change hotkeys to your liking. This is long overdue.
