I tried to login after the crash, and got this.



I tried logging in for 15 minutes, and when I tried Bouboum, it worked. So I said, oh ok! Maybes its working now! Goes back, doesnt work. I go on to the browser (not steam) and tries to log in, again the same error. I try logging in on a second account, and it was CLEAN as a whistle. All of the tribe that was on before got back in no problems, but I was stuck on my alt account. Considering this crash is kind-of over now, Im afraid that I might get disconnected on that account, and only that account, Forever... Which is basically an account lost.

I am extremely concerned, it seems nobody else is having this issue, and this looks pretty grim...

~Cant log in on main to browser
~Can access forums (obvious)
~Account is Hpocks (also obvious)
~Appeared after crash on 3/7/15 around 3PM EST
~No issue in loading login screen on screen and browser version

tl;dr I'm not entirely sure about the crashing, but I doubt your account is "lost forever"

I'm having the same problem, I can log in using an alt but not on my main which is this one. I doubt it will be lost forever though, it's just odd that almost everyone I know is able to log in just fine but I can't.

Nobody's account is lost; and this is an issue that people have experienced before and no accounts were lost during it.

Ive been playing since 2011 (Not this account tho) and through the 50+ updates/lagouts Ive been through, this has never happened!

It has been happening all weekend for me. I kept posting in this thread all weekend when it stopped working

This is unrelated from a general downtime. Unless you are disconnected right as you log in, this is not the problem you're having.

I have the same problem. it'll let me go into my alt but not my main, i dont want to lose all the hard work i did to get my account like that

now its working for me

Yeah, rest assured nobody will lose their account due to this. I'm unsure what causes it, I think an error in authentication; but the last go around no accounts were lost.
