ive never posted anything, so mind me if im doing anything wrong.

Okay, so I've been trying to gift my friend a color. I do everything up to the part after it says the gift sent. It doesn't say he got the gift and he said he never even got anything. I'm definitely typing his username correct. I don't know if this is happening to anyone, but I'm extremely sad and disappointed. I've tried it twice, and I've spent 300 fraises on someone who isn't even getting their gift. Please help. :(

i thought you could only gift if you had the fraises, so someone who was gifted an item rather than paid for it with fraises couldn't re-gift it to someone else?

i thought gifts could only be purchased with fraises directly. As in if you had the fraises for an item you could gift that item to a friend and it would deduct the fraises from you and give them the gift. So if you had no fraises, and just wanted to give someone an item you never use, this could not be done

Am i wrong? Do you first have to buy the gift so it's in your inventory (with frasises or cheeses) and THEN gift it to a friend?

It's just cos that person said maybe the person the OP is gifting to is gifting the item to someone else. If my understanding of gifting is correct then this is impossible yes?

Yes. Gifting can only be from fraises. And yes. It will deduct the number of fraises from you and give them the gift. And yes, if you don't have fraises you can't gift. No you can't buy gift and then gift it to a friend.

The only time you need an item is event items, such as the tambourine mouth item for example; but that's an old thing of the past that will likely be done away with soon.
