The Event Guide !

Main Objective: The main objective of this event is gathering eggs and bringing them back to hole.

By gathering every egg, you get one of these fabulous collectables! The collectables you get will show up on the right part of your screen.

Event Map Objective: Survive the deadly-sweet event maps to get badges and titles! Besides the egg collecting, the Easter Event offers two brand new event maps (you can see them on the "Event Maps" tab). There, the mouse with the most points on the leaderboard gets chosen to be the shaman. The shaman is trapped in a little box made of shaman items, and the mice are trapped in a house made of gingerbreads and delicious cakes! However, if you jump from a high place, you'll die. If an item falls on you, you also die!
As a shaman, you should kill everyone to get yourself a nice title.

Tips to avoid death in the Bonbon Maps:

If you find an invisible item, stay in it. That way, any item that will fall above won't touch you - and you'll survive!
Stand in small spaces. If you stay between boxes with almost no space to move, the items won't be able to fall on you.
Run! If you see a map where you're free to escape, do it! There's a map with two planks and a huge cake on it, so run as far as possible to avoid it falling on you.
Walljump is the key. If you can do down, don't jump! Find the nearest plank or box, and walljump slowly until you reach the bottom.
Go near the shaman. To avoid death as much as possible, stay on the left side of the shaman's position. That way, if a cannon touches you, the shaman will die in the same way.

Tips to kill all mice while Shaman:

Point the unstable parts. Don't shoot cannons where there are a lot of items (such as boxes). The impact won't be so big due to the cannon's small weight, and you'll run out of items to use, without killing anyone.
You only have 4 items! Choose wisely. After you use the fourth item, you'll die.
Totem. Totem. Totem!! You'll have success if you use a totem. Place cannons where the mice are, as you can spawn cannons anywhere from the spawn range. You can also add falling items on the sky, so if a mouse tries to escape - an item will kill it. The landside is useful only on totems. The skills are disabled on the event map, but you'll be able to use it in the totem editor.

Titles !

For this year's event, 5 new titles have been added for us to earn.

New : «Angry Mouse»: Be a shaman on an event map and kill all the mice.
New : «King's Pastry Chef»: Survive on an event map!
«Cocoa»: Survive 3 times on the event maps!
«Egg hunter»: Survive 5 times on the event maps!
«Cock-a-doodle-doo»: Survive 15 times on the event maps!
New : «Caramel Duchess»: Survive 20 times on the event maps!
«Chicken»: Survive 25 times on the event maps!
New : «Candy Lord»: Survive 30 times on the event maps!
New : «Cake Face»: Survive 50 times on the event maps!

Badges !

For this year's event, 3 new badges have been added for us to earn.

: Buy the new Easter fur. Badge can be gained after the event ends!

: Survive 10 times on the event maps!

: Survive 40 times on the event maps!

Event Maps !

For this year's event, 2 new maps have been added! The Event Maps will apear in both Vanilla and Normal rooms, at a random time, once between 20 and 60 minutes if there are less than 40 mice in the room.

Miscellaneous Changes !

1. Login Screen - The login screen image has been updated for a special, sweet atmosphere!

2. New Collectables! - 3 new collectables have been added to the game.

3. New Map Editor tags! - You can now add the aie="" in the main XML code of your map in order to enable the death from a high position/touching items with high speed.

4. New Confetti - The confetti has been replaced with candies! Nom nom!

The Easter Event is one of the most loved events, so let's check what happened 4 years ago!

Easter Event Trivia

The Easter Event is the fifth event ever made on Transformice, after Halloween, Christmas (2010), Valentine's Day and Fishing Event (2011)
Since 2011, the main objective of the Easter Event was collecting eggs in order to exchange them for items
On 2012, a new temporary currency () has been added to the game during the Easter Event in order to buy items from the Shop. This was the second (and last) event currency, but also the third currency ever introduced in Transformice.
The Easter Event was the second event where you could earn badges, after the Carnival Event.
The Easter Event was the first event to introduce an animal fur in Transformice.
The Easter Event was the first event to introduce a fur that cannot be obtained from the Shop.
The Easter Event was the second event to introduce special Shaman Items, after the Christmas Event.
The Easter Event was the second event to introduce special Map Editor decorations, after the Christmas Event.
There's a picture of the Easter 2014 Wallpaper on the Atelier 801 map, along with the Fishing 2014 and 2013 Events.

Easter Event 2011 & 2012

The first Easter Event ever made in Transformice brought back a fun activity - collecting items! As the the Christmas Event, eggs were located on vanilla maps and mice had to gather them by completing the map with the egg. Items were unlocked from 10 to 300 eggs, and they could be regular or new shop items.

Easter Event 2013

The 2013 Easter Event was one of the funniest events ever! Bunnies appeared for the first time on Transformice, and they stole precious eggs from the mice! They had to catch the bunny in the Vampire Survivor maps in order to get them back and buy items from the Shop!

Easter Event 2014

Last year's Easter Event was probably the most amazing event ever made! On this day, the whole Atelier 801 map was released to the public. On this map which randomly appeared on Normal and Vanilla rooms, people had to search the hidden eggs and touch them in order to get two fabulous badges. This Event wasn't so easy, though. Some eggs were strategically placed by Tigrounette so they couldn't be reached by anyone, making the Easter Event one of the funniest event from 2014!

Definitelly looking forward for this one, after the lack of fun since Halloween 2014 was over...

ah easter last year was pretty fun i guess
hopefully this year will be interesting and different

They said it was going to be a never-before-seen kind of event, Im looking forward to it.

I trust they'll make an original never-before-seen event this time and I know they'll probably implement the progress system into the event

I'm fine with anything as long as they don't make big squared badges that solidify every single pixel
tbh i hope they're only doing that with game mode badges

Don't you mean 2011? There was no Easter event in 2010.

But in regards to the topic, I wouldn't mind another treasure hunt style event. As long as it's not another luck-based one like Halloween 2013.

But in regards to the topic, I wouldn't mind another treasure hunt style event. As long as it's not another luck-based one like Halloween 2013.
