If youre banned or muted, it gives a link to appeal the punishment |

I see that sometimes people come over here to the forums to try to appeal a ban in game, and then theyre always given the link to the Staff FaQ or http://transformice.com/contact . How about that when somebody gets banned, besides the Shaman Goddess above the textbox which says how long the ban is and what for, there could be another space saying something along the lines of “Banned/Muted unfairly? Appeal to the punishment here.” With the ‘here’ linking to the contact page. This might avoid the threads where people ask/rant about why they got banned or muted for a certain amount of hours as they’d click the link and fill it out instead. // Supporters: 9 Half Supporters: 3 Dernière modification le 1427872500000 |

/half support Hackers can fake the reason why they were banned and start hacking again the moment they are unbanned. But true, it's a good way to help people whom are banned unfairly. |

It certainly would help those who aren't sure who to talk to or where to go to discuss a ban or mute, so I'd absolutely support this for that reason. I feel the link would be better served to the Staff FAQ since it not only links to the contacts page but lists all the mods with whom the sanction can be discussed with first without having to eat up an Admins time, but either would be more guidance in the long run. We always discuss ban appeals internally and never ban when there is more than reasonable doubt that they might not be breaking a rule, so I'd say it's same to assume people won't be able to abuse any link given in sanctions handed out. It's not too hard to differentiate between someone appealing a ban for the sake of it and someone appealing legitimately anyway. +1 to the suggestion. |

I see some problems here though... - Various links will have to be given for different Staff FAQs, which can prove troublesome; especially in the case of some communities which regularly "reset" their topics to refresh them and keep information current. - The contact page will have to be translated if that's used for this. Those are the only flaws I see. |

Well i think it's a good idea, but it can be used too much by people who think they have been banned unfairly but they haven't like noone appreciates to be banned so they will try to get off the punishment every time they will be banned So i'm a half-supporter ^^' |

griffincraft a dit : It'd be pretty difficult and with devs having so much on their plate and BR resetting every three months.. :x |

Haruhitastic a dit : Hm-- I dont think it would take an awful long time to change it every three months, but maybe I’m wrong. Could BR admins be set to editting it when they reset? |

Bethdacat a dit : I'm sure moderators would notice when the appeal is full of lies and when it isn't, let alone them having evidence, so it'd be pretty difficult to get past a ban for hacking. |
