This applies for the Milk Carton skin and Bunny Skin only (For I haven't tested if the other skins will now do this). Whenever the user uses one of these items, they change form into it. But if the player was still wearing the skins, and they happen to take off / equip their Color / Fur, then the skin will be removed as well.

Not sure if anyone was aware of this at the time. Already tested it out a few times to make sure it was the Color / Fur that were doing this.

I don't think so, no. I haven't seen anything stating that it was
