In the U.S, we are used to doing Pacer tests at P.E, where we run back and forth in the gym's ending lines, and we are done whenever we feel like done.

It's not racing, it's just going back and forth to the gym running according to the guy talking on the radio, whenever the radio says *BEEP* and you are not on the other side of the gym, you are disqualified, your final result will be how many goings back and forth you did until when you gave up or got disqualified. It's not about who's the fastest, it's about who has the quality to resist the best.

I feel like you made this suggestion because you just found out what a pacer test was and thought it was cool.

but can't you just race. i mean, it's less time-consuming and it's about the same thing unless you considered a module where all you do is run back and forth and where ping is the only determiner of the winner as well as initial start time. adding on to that, it would take like 5 minutes to finish a whole pacer

Other than the fact mice have like I don't know infinite stamina :/

Interesting idea though just that it seems to be more of racing.

I'd have to agree with the above comments, there's no real skill or fun in running back and forth constantly when mice in the game have infinite stamina, it defeats the point of pacer tests.

As I would agree with the others, but making it more interesting could help the idea.
Ping is definitely a problem though, but its a problem everywhere in TFM ;P

The only way Id find this interesting:
-The map would be a basic one, 1 Ground, X[400],Y[375],W[800],H[50], any background.
-Code 2 Checkpoints, switching between them each 'pace' or whatever. 1[x<100],2[x>700]. 600 per 'pace'.
-Each 'pace', would generate a random obstacle/s, of which the players must pass to the other checkpoint in time. Getting harder over time.
-Id say each 'pace' would be around 10 Seconds each, would depend on how hard the obstacles are.
The only problem I see, is deciding of the winner. Eventually everyone will die, or a few minutes each round could result in multiple winners...
So this really would only be fun in the tribe house, since a real mini game would have to have time limits and such to keep the flow...
(He/she said 'based on', so dont think it has to be exactly like it guys ;p)

Though what surprises me a lot, a lot?/most?/all? of the other threads with this amount of information were closed?

Shamousey it's the stamina of the user, I realized it half way.
Well if you were to make an true to life depiction of an event and turn it into a game it wouldn't be fun... I guess it's to adapt the idea of it into a game which is more of what they're trying to get at

How 'bout a different control palette being: mashing left and right or a and d alternatively.
