I would probably say 10 - 11 with parental/sibling supervision, then at 11 - 12 then they can play without supervision (If this gets moderated I'm sorry, I didn't know :/)

I'd probably give them a taste around age ten or so, however I'd monitor closely. Since I believe in having an open household to children I won't hover too much, but I'll teach 'em not to open links without me checking them first, et cetera.

Sibling wise, my sister is fifteen years my senior so that point is moot.

If there was an option to turn off chat, I'd think under 10 (depending on the kid). But due to chat, age 12-15, and I'd encourage them to play in the same room with me or at the same time as me (aka me as the big sister being "adult supervision"). Not a huge deal, as my younger brother turns 22 this month and already has an account, that I introduced him to when he was 16/17, I think.

What happened: I let her play, and we went to a room. Someone swore at her badly. she was like, WHAT...? She thought that this would be like AJ and you wouldn't be able to swear... At least she still doesn't know I swear.
