Restoration skill sends everything to 0,0 without red nail |

Restoration used on shaman objects causes them to have a fixed rotation. It has always been the case that if two objects with fixed rotation are overlapping and have a red nail on the overlapping part, they are sent to 0,0 as the engine can't handle it or something. However, now it also sometimes happens without a red nail. I had this happen at least 2 times now but I'm not able to reproduce it. Just now it happened in the following case: As soon as I used the skill on that transparent plank everything went to 0,0. I'm 100% positive that there was no red nail used on the map as I am on hardmode and didn't use my totem. |

Inthebin figured out what causes the bug: If an object is c anchored to another object and then force is affected by force, making it rotate a bit further than it would normally do, it is prone to this glitch. Reproduce it yourself with the following technique: You can see how the transparent plank phases through the solid one, this means that the yellow anchor is under a heavy load now. Once the skill is applied to the second solid plank the whole build will be sent to 0,0. |

Epifistu btw it has changed, I think even if the objects aren't connected to a red anchor they'll cause everything to go to 0,0 now. Pretty sure that's why all IF and its variants don't work anymore. |

Read the title again, "Restoration skill sends everything to 0,0 without red nail" :P So yeah my point is that it has changed from before. I don't think that this has to do with IF. When you do this glitch you can still build afterwards, only the objects that were connected to the glitched objects go to 0,0. Everything that is spawned afterwards still works normally. Anyway, I had this happen again even without lots of force affecting the boards, I'm still not 100% sure what causes this, maybe the force is just a cause for another factor which causes the glitch. |

Epifistu a dit : I said that you don't need a red nail to activate the 0,0 glitch anymore But however it's weird because I recalled it as everything goes to 0,0 regardless... So this is slightly different from what I'm talking about too so Hmm. If you are in contact with the ground do you get affected to? (I understood the title as such, it was weird that without a red anchor this still happens) Dernière modification le 1431262860000 |

Paperonaruto a dit : No, it only affects the build itself and players that are in contact with its solid parts. |

Epifistu a dit : So even if the build is on the ground it doesn't affect other mice on the same ground? Just clarifying |

Yes, that's what I saw happening. |
