Summary All Atelier 801 games should allow you to change to another Atelier 801 game without switching to another page. Reasoning I got this idea from seeing the "other games" list on Transformice, as well by the fact it's always a pain to get friends to play other games / module 801 games. And since all of these are based off of the Transformice codebase and have same size window, it shouldn't be unthinkable (if, albeit, a pain) to code a way to unload the current game, and load up the next one; maybe with a little special chat window to use while it's loading. This would make it easier to transition between games, and could even make it so a login wasn't required, allowing you to not lose any play-time! And when the module 801 network is setup, it could make those games a lot more popular. Conclusion I don't think such an update would be beneficial for all Atelier 801 games; Transformice because it makes it easier to switch to these games with friends when the mood arrises (basically as simple as switching tom a mini-game but with loading), and would help other games by making it easier for people to play them. |

Baffler's standalone has an option to switch inbetween games :3. I would recommend baffler's standalone. /Nospupport - reason not necessary |

This wouldn't really be possible without including every single game asset from every game, which'd make Transformice's file size a lot bigger. The games have a lot of different structure and it wouldn't really be suitable for this, the only reason things like Madchess (and previously an early version of Bouboum) were available within Transformice was because they're tiny games. |

hipstered a dit : The fact their is and unofficial way to switch between games is not a valid "reason not necessary". Not everyone uses it, and thus it wouldn't help much in terms of what I said about making it easy for everyone to switch. Besides, some people (like me) prefer to use official clients for games only, since you don't know what the unofficial client is actually doing (security wise), or even how long it will be supported by the author. Shamousey a dit : No, it shouldn't require it to have every asset at all; it would just require the game to unload the current assets and then load the new assets (much like big games do when changing to a new level). So long as it doesn't need to unload some of the basic codebase stuff (wether your logged in, maybe a chat window to show during loading, etc), it should be more than possible (if a bit of a pain depending on how the codebase is currently set up). most good part of the A801's games are quite dead -Nekodancer is bound to close thanks to Flash issues, Boubomb and Fortoresse is being played by vast minority of people. plus im not seeing the issue as it only takes 10-20 seconds to switch out to the other game, plus its not like everyone plays all of them that this would seem a pain and thus this to be needed. im not sure if baffler game switching option is still warrant, but point me out if its still around but assuming it is, so theres that too. e// typos tl;dr too pointless, /nosupport Dernière modification le 1507741140000 |
