As many of you know, the beds do not bounce like they used to, they used to be like a trampoline. Unfortunately they do not do that anymore. I get the feeling that this was intended, but why? They were fine as they used to be. If it is a glitch, it's been like this for a year.

I haven't heard anything about it being intended, not can I find anything on that. I recall a post by an admin a long time ago saying beds were still bouncy and never broken, but I can't find it anymore. Posts I have found said it was known and was getting fixed, there wasn't really a source with those posts though.

Since when did the beds stop being bouncy?

Please tell me, I'm from 2014, and I still find the beds bouncy.

In 2013/2014, the beds stopped being bouncy in maps.
(The original tribe house map / @0 would be an example of this, you bounce for a bit, then you stop bouncing.)
You pretty much have to put a trampoline ground behind the bed if you want it to bounce.

If I'll be annoying, sorry, I find that bouncy enough. If you would really like it to bounce, you could do what Kaylee suggested for it to bounce.

It must be a glitch.
The beds have been broken since August of 2013.
The cause is, somehow, all the collidable items each have an extra square that has no restitution.

Actually, there is a way to put them back to being bouncy. Just add some joint into the XML.
