ever get that moment where you want to make a fantastic map but the map editor is so limited that you can't at all? i've dealt with that too many times. here's what i think should be added to the map editor exclusively. - bigger x and y axis' for scroll maps - bigger ground and object limits (possibly 100 ground and 80 object) - ability to rotate water grounds - ability to make grounds invisible without hard XML editing - ability to make grounds and objects move in directions Dernière modification le 1437840180000 |

- bigger x and y axis' for scroll maps ° Bigger maps will take too long to complete and will encourage more space usage that can contribute to lag. As a tribe house, it can be okay. - bigger ground and object limits (possibly 100 ground and 80 object) ° While it can give maps a lot more potential, the potential for lag must also be understood. - ability to rotate water grounds - ability to make grounds invisible without hard XML editing ° We already have a way to make grounds invisible, it is just a matter of making the Editor more updated and user friendly. - ability to make grounds and objects move in directions ° See above - basically the ability to create direction maps for grounds and objects so they can move in directions n stuff ° What? Inthebin a dit : i agree with what you're saying. i feel like it would only be used for tribe house maps. in fact, i only really do tribe house maps these days because with the only rule being that you have to be in a tribe to make them, and the large map codes being available, i can make things that would look too small on a normal map size. however, i've come to the point where i find the large map codes to be a bit small... there are others like me who think this too, mind you. Inthebin a dit : as soon as i came up with the idea of bigger ground and object limits, i was also thinking of lag. more or less, if they would bring back the rule that means if maps have a frame rate below 50% they get deleted, that would really help and in fact allow people to create larger maps without people abusing the limits to make crash maps. |

Can't you just use the Defilante XML to make your map bigger? I'm not sure, but my friend did this, I'm pretty sure it works. |

Pinpenski a dit : i've used that xml but it seems it still isn't long enough or just plain not tall enough. and also, due to it being a defilante xml, specific objects turn into power ups which really annoys me. |
