The point is that I want to know if I can customize an item before I buy it.

you can just find the item here and see if you can change the colors there though

you buy the item first, then you can buy the customization for either 20 frasies or 2,000 cheese.

you're all failing to see the point of the suggestion. It does not pay for customisation, or enforce it. It simply shows before purchase wether you can or cannot customise it after purchase

people read the title before posting!! the point is to see if you could customize an item BEFORE you buy it. not "customize first then buy".

You're reading the original post wrong, you'll not be able to customize it before the purchase, just see if you can.

You could always check the Cheeseformice dressroom, I know it doesn't have ALL the items currently in shop, but it's still pretty helpful and it shows if you can customize it or not.
