It has been annoying me for a while now. I don't want to have a /chat on, but it always opens automatically and I have to close it myself manually. You could leave it like that, but have some sort of option to disable it.

Actually, it's worth noting the fact that your username still stays on the /who list, even after closing the chat. So, you're still going to have people be aware of your location and even be whispering you when not wanted.

Actually, your username doesnt stay in the /who list when youre not in the chat, unless someone used the /who command before you leave the chat. That's like a 5s lapse of time for someone to actually see you on /who list and actually bother whispering you.
