Restrict skill trees until sham reaches (x) saves |

Inb4 this has already been suggested - couldn't find anything like it. With hard mode and divine mode, players are required to have saved a minimum number of players before they are able to use those modes... and for extremely good reason. I suggest the same goes with applying level points to the skill tree until something like 500 saves or whatever number seems suitable to the devs. The reasoning for this is as simple as the reason why hard mode / divine mode isn't available to new players: they haven't learned how to use the base shaman skills yet. All too often I see new players summoning springs when they can't even build a simple ramp. I get it, everyone is new at some point, but this is exactly why they need to learn the basics of the game before being given new toys (not to mention this could possibly cut down on the number of bubble shams). |

/no support yes, restricting shaman modes makes sense, as like you say you need the basics before you can move onto more advanced tactics, also you have to earn them but to me, skills are already restricted, by skill points. You have to earn skill points by being good at the game, getting cheese, getting saves, if you die every round you won't end up with many. And thus "bad" mice (as in not good at the game yet) can't be flying around or using clouds untill they have earned that right. also, I see skills as their own thing. It doesn't matter how good you are at "vanilla" (no skills) shamming, when you first get an apple or a cloud you're going to have to figure it out via trial and error, or asking, wether you have 1 save or 10,000. Basic shaman skills does not prepare you for totally unique things like removing a nail, (i've seen expirienced shams who've just got this skill use it wrong, trying to cast it on the plank and not the nail) or giving cheese (learning that you need to save a mouse first). so yeah, these things are already restricted via skill points, and also the learning curve only begins when you get them, not before. So I see no need to restrict them more. also, bubble sham noobs are cute :) If the sham is too ignorant to save me on a map that needs a sham, i'd rather have the chance to be able to use bubbles to get the cheese |

I support. I believe skills are for more advanced players, since you need to level up to be able to gain skills, which means experience. |

I really really agree. New players should learn the basics first. Skills are just too much to put on them at once, |

most new players dont even figure out that there are skill trees until theyre like level 20, (around 300-400 saves) which makes this suggestion somewhat pointless but some of them do figure out there are skill trees so... /half support |

Limiting skills wont help anyone learn. Balloons are used far more often than anything on any skill tree. The skills are more for helping out, nothing to do with anything about actually building and what not. If i were to go back to level 20, I probably would be pretty bored without messing around with my skill set. Even bubbles have their use, rather a good skill to help anyone trying to level up. And they already do limit the tree, needing a multiple of 5 points used in that tree per row. So this is kinda pointless... If anything we need a better community that will help instead of bashing on anyone new, and 801 to get a tutorial thats better reachable by newcomers. That get the cheese 5 inches away and come back thing in the beginning is one of the worst things i have ever seen thats supposed to help... /nosupport |

/no support, skills are fun, and how are people gonna learn how to use them unless they can't have them. Besides, a lot of people don't realize what skills even are until they've reached like level 10 or so. I didn't know until like level 19. |
