Have you ever made a map where you couldn't get the exact results needed because you were stuck as the shaman, so you had to export your map, go to a utility/ tribehouse and test it there? You're not alone. Some maps such as racing, mi I Suggest that you have the option to validate the map as the shaman, or as a regular mouse. How Would This Look Like? Lets say you just finished making a map right? Or might even need to test something
You'd go down to the Save / Load / Test and click your selection
You'll select Shaman if you need to test your building/survivor maps, and select Mouse if you need to test your racing/bootcamp/defilante maps
I think having this option within the map editor would allow map makers to have a more accurate result when testing a map. Testing a specific map as a shaman doesn't always have the same results as a mouse. Therefore, having the ability to choose which kind of mouse you want to be would save a lot of time and give more accurate results. Dernière modification le 1466533920000 |

I support this. As I hate building cages to pop up mice and control them. Dernière modification le 1442841600000 |

Actually, I'd like a bit of both. Maps exported into rotation need to be completable by the shaman and mouse, so I think it'd be a nice idea to force people to play as both (perhaps as shaman first so they can build) to export their maps. |

Does the shaman have a bigger/smaller hit box than the mouse that would interfere with regular gameplay? The skills are usually turned off when validating a map so the shaman behaves exactly like the mouse should they not build at all. If this is the case, then /support |

Bumping this to say I updated the OP by rewriting the entire thing, as well as making some points more clear. Dernière modification le 1466534700000 |

As of current timing, this thread is a bit outdated. Skills have been removed from testing map-editor maps. There's really no difference in being a shaman and mouse besides of using items that's provided to the shaman. So currently, I'm not sure what the difference is except for your mouse wearing feathers? Correct me if I'm wrong. So for now no support. |

Diamondwing a dit : There is a big difference when playing the map as the shaman vs. a mouse. Trying to play as the shaman on a racing/ bootcamp / defilante map as fast as you can, will have different results vs. a regular mouse, especially for the people who want to be accurate. The shaman in the editor are generally bigger, and it's easier to see how a regular mouse will do on your map instead of hoping. You don't expect a shaman to complete a no-shaman map, so why should you have to be a shaman to complete it in the editor? |
