What is the point of ignoring if they still can send messages?

Haven't played the halloween event yet but that is a legitimate concern

This game really sucks these days. How ridiculous it is that a player i ignored long time before can send me a message.

I guess the excuse is it's not tied in to the community platform.

It's been reported to admins, I expect they will take action to fix this.

I think that something allowing users to bypass the ignore list would still be considered a bug. Whether it is a technical error or something overlooked they are still interacting with the game in a manner they're not supposed to be able to.

I don't think that it is a bug though. In my opinion it happens like that because of the way the event features were programmed. I don't even think programmers cared about the ignored list at all as we have seen before that a player can send a trade offer to another player by whom s/he was ignored.

This event has been very complex in the sense that there are a lot of different elements, maps, consumables etc. involved. They probably just forgot that the notes can be used to continually harass someone, just like they forgot (and subsequently fixed) that the lightning on the event maps can be a serious hazard for epileptics. I am absolutely sure that it is not a matter of not caring.

This should be fixed as of version 1.268 (which is now live). If it is still possible, please create a bug thread.
