Could you explain the problem a little more? From what I understand you describe 2 problems:

1. Your friend tries to gift you --> It cannot find your account and returns an "Invalid ID" error.
2. Someone (who?) is trying to give a fur (which?) to someone (again, who?) --> Gifting system wrongly returns that the user already owns the fur.
