A sigh escaped from Cherry's throat as she gazed upon the sulking form of Emily, who's tears cascaded down onto the apartment floor. The news of Jesse's death had brought down a strong storm of grief upon Emily, Jesse had been truly dear to her as they had grown very close through the years. A shiver overtook Cherry. She had worms crawling up her arms-worms of anxiety. She knew that what happened to Jesse could have happened to her, or anyone.
