Point:
Making event shop items obtainable from event maps but can purchase them with cheese/ fraises when the event is ending soon.

Why:
TL;DR : Engages players to participate in the event and non-grinders/ people that cannot obtain all the items from the maps can purchase them. + players buy with fraises = more money for the company (?)
In past years, players seems to be really into the event when we still get shop items from the event maps. Just assuming but maybe because that new players might have difficulty collecting every items or because it is due to raising dough for the company, this was removed.

Badges, titles and consumables still do keep players going but shop items were one of the big ones that players strives for.
To tackle the issue on engaging players i suggest we place the idea of shop items in event maps back AND making them non- purchasable. Those that want the items 1st can start grinding for it. Those that cannot make it in time or just cannot be bothered to do the event can still purchase them as the dead end of the event draws near. In that way it satisfy 2 groups of players and you can still earn some money (if people are buying with fraises)

So... you mean, go back to their previous money-losing option?
Nah. I'd rather play more than them lose money again.

Nah. I'd rather play more than them lose money again.

I know that in order to sustain the game, money is obviously crucial and I do know that they are low on funds

This will definitely make them lose money, I am aware of it.

But as a secondary 'aim' as a game developer, engaging players (customers) is also a necessity. Games in the end are meant to entertain players and make them satisfied.

Honestly, as I am not part of the company or have much knowledge on accounting, I cannot give a solution or suggest something big to the admins.

If they are losing money and players together, I think they have to figure out a new system to gain money other than fraises from Transformice (I know they are doing something about it now so I just wish them luck). Its not so reliable as we can see.

Fierying a dit :
block of text

I understand that, however Meli stated multiple times that giving those items out made them operate at a loss. And, unless the game becomes pay to win, there is nothing else they can do to generate funds outside of fraises.
I understand that it's a bother to have to pay for items, but I think it'd be far more of a bother to not have a game to play :P
