Every now and then comes a time where I am trying to get somebody's attention in the public chat. The best way to do this is by typing their full username to make the message appear yellow, however some people have very complex and usernames with repeating letters or numbers. I think it would be nice, but by no means absolutely necessary, to add a "mention" option to the pop-up list when clicking someone's username. The mention button would paste the player's name in chat so that you don't have to type it all out to get their attention. Obviously, to avoid spam and annoying yellow text, this would have to be restricted in some fashion. I guess at that point one could already whisper someone once they have that pop-up list present, but maybe that's not preferred. Just an idea to make the game a little bit more smooth-sailing.

you can just do [beginning letters of persons name] + tab until you find their name, but that can add their tag in which i feel isn't very fluid.
disable tag if it is #0000, or if the user does not have "tags" enabled in their settings
there shouldn't be a limit on how many times a person can be supported, if someone finds it annoying they can just /ignore the player

i am in favor of it for the people who don't know the tab hotkey, but keep in mind it adds a lot when you click their name.
when you mention them, I suggest an @ symbol be added before so it's simpler to tell if you're being mentioned (and will be colored white... so it stands out even more, but only applies if it's the first character).
