When trying to capture that perfect selfie with your friend or by yourself, there is always those people who want to put themselves into the selfie to photobomb it, ruining those selfies and wasting your selfie sticks.

A way they could prevent this is if a person has /watch on, only the people who are set on for watch will be in the selfie, everyone else will not be in it.

Good idea, I shouldn't have to go to an empty/private room in order to take a photo with specific people just to avoid mice that ruin the image.
