I think there should be numbers on cafe posts. This will be easier to count comments is someone is doing a giveaway and they will only pick winners on who comments first, 50th and so on.

Saying you can just count the comments isn't an argument.

Half of the comments for this topic would be gone because the cafe topic can't handle it and some people are quite lazy to either count or check how many posted (Remember two people or more can post at once)

Or maybe don't do giveaways in the first place because in general these things are destined to make people upset and involves a lot of scamming. Is the number in the thread list not sufficient?

I don't see where there's any harm. It's already on this forum, so what issue would it be in having it on Cafe too?

I didn't say all giveaways were a scam, but it happens often that people ask for donations to fund their "giveaway", and then end up not giving away anything at all. Or situations where players are promised a lot of neat prizes and end up getting nothing.
