I noticed that the /watch command doesn't work on flying pets (reindeers, dragons, angels.)
http://i.imgur.com/fdPe8mq.png
Is there a way to make them work with the command, or it's a bug?

It's a bug because you're using /watch to make yourself more visible, not make pets and yourself more visible. Pets shouldn't be opaque.

I'm pretty sure the user isn't trying to make his or her pets bold. If I'm understanding this right, the pets of other users are still standing out when he or she is watching their own mouse, taking away from the point of the watch command.

I'm unsure if that was directed at me or the post above me, but if the former -- that's exactly what I said. I just didn't express myself right. Sorry for any confusion.

People are trying so hard to find bugs, damn. this isn't even considered a bug.

Yes it is.

No it's not. The command is only meant to make mouse transparent not consumables (which include pets)

Except pets are equipped onto the mouse just like an item. If that's the case, then test if consumable furs are opaque while on /watch. It's the same concept.

edit - Tested it for you and spoiler alert: they're transparent.
Pets are not dynamic objects like balls, puffer fish and the like. They are equippable like a hat, hence they should be transparent. Case closed.

Firework, snowman, and mistletoe (and much more) aren't dynamic but their still visible with watch. They are consumables not shop items. Case open

Who said that those consumables being opaque aren't bugs either???
Pets are equippable
Shop items are equippable
They're not the same thing, but do you..... see where i'm going with this.....

also, i'd like to know how long pets have been physically attached to mice

I do but technally the pets arent really apart of the mouse but just following it. If they were bugged than the admins would have fixed it a long time ago..

There's bugs from 2011 that ain't been fixed yet so don't spit out that logic

Ok fine then...
I still believe pets are not meant to be transparent.

Let's wait for staff to say this...

This isn't a bug, people just have expectations that aren't being met, e.g. they want the pet to be invisible, but the pet is an entirely different entity than your mouse so that's why it's visible when you have /watch on. How can a pet not be dynamic? It's moving isn't it? Cheese's explanation makes sense, I have nothing to add to that.

Since /watch was implemented to make specific users - yourself or someone else - more visible in crowded places, you can safely conclude that even if this is not a bug, it's unwanted behavior. To answer OP's question: It's currently not possible to make the pets transparent like the mice.

On a general note, if you think a thread in the Bugs subforum is not about an actual bug, please just report the first post and we'll take a look at it.
