Today, i will show you a idea that ive got, the staff members need special titles. (Not basic players) Familiar to Staff titles, how do staff titles work? Simple like admin titles! For example, title Souris Electrique, i guess that title is for AS3 developers, and the title Moderation, could be a title for moderator members.

I like the idea, and it does make things a lot more useful if you need help in a certain room.
But so many people come in and out of moderation, and I think it would be stressful for the admins to keep giving and taking away those titles to players. It would eventually become a hassle.

That's why admins only really have those titles. Admins stay on for longer, and they actually work at the office.
That's all ive got to say about this!

I think some of the titles would have to be different that what you suggested. People with «Security» title for example could use that to convince others to give them their password along with other information. Although that type of scam is old/bad, people would still fall for it if someone chooses to attempt it. I do think it would be awesome of the admins to give people who helped the game titles they could keep as souvenir even after they leave the staff team. A badge or something may be better though.

This suggestion could be interesting to distinguish staff from the crowd more easily. There have been similar discussions in the past, but those never lead to satisfactory conclusions. However, I don't think a lot of staff members would want a mandatory title; they are players just like everyone else and they want to show off their stats just like everyone else. There could be work-arounds like wearing the title when they are on active duty, or use the titles for anonymized staff accounts.

Giving and removing the title to staff or ex-staff would be no extra hassle than giving or taking powers from them, so I don't think that'll be an issue.

This suggestion could be useful if implemented.

What would happen if someone with moderation gone?

If somebody quits the moderation team, it will be deleted when they log off, and if they have the title equipped, it will equip the previous title that the player was using.

All public staff members already have coloured names ingame and a command like /mod and /mapcrew to distinguish themselves, I'm not sure what benefit a title would offer at all.

New players are usually not aware TFM staff has coloured usernames, nor are they aware of the existence of those commands. A title that says Moderator is much more obvious than a random yellow username.

Not to mention that having an official title reduces the ability to pretend you're staff.

I agree with that, however there can be more done than just the coloured names - such as including text on the profile to denote that the user is a moderator or whatnot.

What would happen with titles, would they be enforced on all staff or would the staff have the option to wear it or not? If the latter, it'd be terrible inconsistent.
