New Emote Tool

The picture below is an example of a tool that makes adding more emotes virtually limitless. Pressing "E" on your keyboard will open this array of emotes. If you are familiar with the "F" key in Transformice the picture will be self explanatory for the most part.

One downside of this change would mean you could no longer use the "E" key only for confetti because it now access all the emotes. Though I would suggest having an option to apply hotkeys for emotes as well as shaman abilites/inventory items.

I don't know if the emotes on the chat box should stay there or not after this change. I imagine it may be kind of annoying to regular players that go to click the dance emote and it not be there. I will not mind it either way. However if the emotes on the chat box are removed the extra space could be used for something like shaman abilities or something.

The billboard in the center can display various Shaman/Transformice tips and tricks, or what your closest title is. Who knows, there is enough space there for a lot of things. Anyways I'd love to see what you guys think.

If you're going to move the emotes to a menu, they will be less used. Not in the first place because you can't see your emote if there's a menu infront, it takes more time and effort to use one. Keeping them on the main screen is more simple. So I think they should definitely stay where they are now.

However, the images look quite neat and a menu like that could be used to select only the emotes you want to use. You can select the ones you use the most, and choose to not display the other ones. This way the user interface will be less cramped with emotes, while you can still use your favorite emotes with a single click.

True, it would be more organized, but it would take more time. It would be easier to keep them how they are now. And it might be confusing to new players, not seeing emotes anywhere despite everyone using actions. For the F key, I asked often but I didn't get an answer about the shaman signs until about a month. Good idea, though.

Thanks for the feedback guys, just FYI I did make it an option.

I like that idea better. Favoriting emojis sounds pretty cool :)

The menu seems like it might get in the way when you use it. What about just making hotkeys for emotes? For example you can choose for "L" to make you laugh just like "E" is for confetti?
Although that idea strays away from yours almost entirely. Feel free to ignore me xD
