I love the selfie stick consumable item, but it would be so, so much better if it were actually accurate.
For example, if I take a selfie of someone dancing, they're not dancing in the selfie.

The mice or mouse in selfies just do random things decided by the game.
It would be nice if mice did the same thing as they did in the game when you took the selfie.

Mouse crouching? They crouch in the selfie.
Mouse blowing a kiss? They blow a kiss in the selfie.
Mouse high fiving? They high five in the selfie.

I think they meant that it looks silly to them if the feature you suggest was applied, as them & their friend would look almost the same in every picture.
(I may be wrong but that would make sense as they're not supporting that feature?)
I'm /halfsupport on this as the current selfie mechanism gives variety to your poses without you having to do anything about it. I would support this if it was something optional, as @Ujosiipi already said, because sometimes I would like to have the option to be accurate with my selfies!

I agree. "Random selfies" should be an option which is activated by default (like it is now), and you can deactive it so it only takes a picture of the actions the mice do in the picture.

I'm just here to point out your contradiction. If we had "accurate selfies" in the way you suggest, the mouse who uses the consumable will always be holding a selfie stick. You can't emote when you're using it, you can't dance, or idle, or clap. you will ALWAYS hold the stick

Well, maybe you could do a randomized action and all the other mice could do what they did when you took the picture.
I reckon the person who takes the selfie holding up the selfie stick in every picture would be quite boring.
