I know you can click the YouTube button to permanently pause the video until the next one plays, but it'd be nice if you could click the screen to pause/play the video.
Sometimes I accidentally click the YouTube button and sometimes I just want to go to the video's page, but not pause it.

I think they can't have it and there's no point to implant that now, maybe once they add vimeo.

What do you mean you think you can't have it?
If you pause a video and play it again, it doesn't resume where you paused it.
It's like pausing a live stream. Once you play it, it skips to where it's actually at so everybody see the same thing.
This is to prevent people permanently pausing it by accident, and also if you to get the URL of a song without pausing it.
It could also be used to pause a video if you don't want to watch or hear it, and maybe there could be an option to hide the screen if the video is inappropriate, disgusting, et cetera.

if being able to pause the music isn't possible , i really want the ability to mute it.
