COME PLAY WITH US IN ROOM #DIVINITY


#DIVINITY is an official module created for shamans to train and compete in divine mode building, using only green/blue anchors to create a complicated build to save as many mice as possible!

Our goal is to give divine mode shamans a special room to train in and show off your divine skills, without red or yellow anchors, without any shaman skills, and with limited arrows and balloons, to create a spectacular build to get many saves!

In this thread, you are able to submit shaman maps that can either aid or make it difficult for us Divine Shamans, and for us to try different builds. Please read the rules in the next tab before submitting any maps!

RULES FOR SUBMITTING MAPS
  • You can only submit a MAXIMUM of 3 MAPS per checkpoint for us to review.
  • Maps must be submitted in the format of @code - Changes since the last time (if any) and starting each @code on a new line. DO NOT submit XML codes.
    For Example:
    EXAMPLE a dit :
    @1234567
    @2345678 - edited ground
    @3456789
  • No copy or repeated maps that we have already rejected/accepted, unless you have edited it.
  • No other category maps. Only shaman maps allowed. That means the map should not be too decorative or soloable.
  • No collision, soulmate and nightmode.
  • Any DEFILANTE maps MUST have walls protecting the mice from off-screen death.
  • No editing of maps after checkpoint. Only edit the maps after we have reviewed it.
  • If you have more maps to submit, do not post twice. Instead edit your own original post and add more maps to it.
  • Only P22 (tribehouse maps), P1 (protected maps) and P4 (single shaman) maps are allowed to be submitted.

ON THE 1ST OF EVERY MONTH THERE WILL BE A CHECKPOINT SET AND ALL MAPS THAT HAVE BEEN SUBMITTED UNTIL THAT CHECKPOINT WILL BE REVIEWED. DO NOT EDIT YOUR MAPS AFTER THE CHECKPOINT UNTIL THEY HAVE BEEN REVIEWED.



WHAT KIND OF MAPS DO WE LIKE
We like maps that are fun to shaman in. We like maps that have a variety of solutions and should also bring some challenge for divine shamans to complete. We like maps that can make our shamans strategise their builds but at the same time, enjoy coming up with new ways to improve on their original builds.


WHAT KIND OF MAPS WE DO NOT LIKE
  • Maps that have fake, confusing or hidden grounds.
  • Maps that violate any of the rules of P1 (PROTECTED MAPS).
  • Maps that encourage players to try to bootcamp and solo it.
  • Maps that have parts that depend too much on the mice's skills.


DO YOU HAVE AN ISSUE WITH A MAP IN ROTATION IN #DIVINITY?
If you feel that there are problems with any map in #DIVINITY map rotation, or if a map is broken and you believe that the map should be removed, please feel free to REPORT MAPS here in this thread. However, you MUST have a VALID reason as to why you would like to have that map removed and must specify your reasons CLEARLY. Please note that not all reported maps will be removed as we will discuss it thoroughly before removing it.

HAVE AN ACCEPTED MAP THAT YOU WANT TO EDIT?
By default, all maps in #DIVINITY are given a P41 (module maps) perm and cannot be edited. If you would like to edit them, please contact one of our reviewers to deperm them as Tribehouse. Brief description of changes made are also appreciated. However if your map has a P1 or P4 perm, please re-export it as a NEW map and mention the original code in rotation.

TYPES OF MAP

Aside from the standard maps that only require basic building skills, we have implemented different variety of maps that will aid your divine mode building or challenge it.

  • Opportunist maps
  • If, for some reason, shaman cannot win in your map then you can make it into an Opportunist map so that shaman can win when all the mice enter the hole. This rule is often for the maps with shaman caged off-screen where shaman dies when it gets cheese.

    Do note that opportunist mode is basically not recommended and only allowed when it's really necessary.

  • No balloon maps
  • After reading this and then if you think balloons need to be disabled in your map, you can make it into a no-balloon map.

DIVINITY MAP CATEGORIES

Divinity maps are now classified into 2 categories:
Category 1 - Prime Divinity Maps
Category 2 - Divinity Maps

This system works similarly to the Bootcamp map rotation consisting of P3 and P13.
Basically, Category 1 maps are supposed to be more preferable, original and well-designed. They are more likely to be played than Category 2.
This change may affect our map review. We have rejected many maps for being generic (not new) but now we will be more tolerant of generic maps, so maps which would have been rejected can be accepted into Category 2.

You can find which category a map belongs to by the color of its map code or !info. Category 1 maps are shown in yellow and Category 2 maps in green.

These are the current active #DIVINITY staff that are willing to review your maps. There are also many private staff that will be reviewing them. If you have any queries, please private message our shared forum account at Divinity#0177. Alternatively, you may message us individually via INBOX or whispers in-game, but keep in mind that they may be missed. You may also contact us through our Discord server, linked in the first tab.

While you ARE allowed to whisper us in game, please do not pester us too much about reviewing your maps or you will most likely be ignored/blacklisted.

APPLICATIONS

Do you have what it takes to be one of us? Are you passionate in improving the quality of the map rotation? We are looking for active map reviewers for Divinity, who are able to provide constructive feedback on maps, and justify difficulties of maps.

Please note the following before applying:
  • You must be able to communicate in English with the rest of the team
  • There is no age limit, but maturity is expected
  • Map-making experience is preferred, but is NOT mandatory
  • Experience with playing the module is required
  • Communication is made through Discord. You must have a Discord account

Applications are currently OPEN. So if you feel that you have what it takes, and meet the above criterias – feel free to apply here! Note that you can assume that you have been rejected if you did not get a reply 3 weeks after your application.

MAP SUBMISSIONS


Hello Divine Mode Shamans! #Divinity is an official module, which is a great platform for shamans to train and compete in divine mode building, using only green anchors to create a complicated build to save as many mice as possible!

In this thread, you can submit maps that can aid shamans or even make it difficult for shamans to do it in divine mode, so they can try different builds which are out of the norm.
We are looking for maps that have a variety of solutions and are fun to shaman, and also brings some challenge for divine mode shamans to build in!

You can also REPORT MAPS which you deem not suitable in divinity, but you have to state you reason CLEARLY and it has to be a valid, good reason. Do note that not all reported maps will be removed as we will discuss it thoroughly before removing it.

Rules for submitting maps

  • Defilante maps have to have a wall which has collision with mice so that mice don't go offscreen and die.


Maps that we dislike:
  • Maps that has fake/confusing/hidden grounds.

  • Maps that encourage/spur mice to try to bootcamp and pro it.
  • Maps that have parts that depend too much on mice's skills



We will review your maps every month, so don't pester us in game. Failure to comply to the above rules will get your post ignored, even placing you in risk in getting into our blacklist.
