Many beginner players does not have to ability to shaman properly, so how about starting a training course for them in the game? The course will teach them proper shaman techniques and they have to pass each test in order to go on. And if they pass the entire course, they will be granted to shaman in different rooms, but before the course is completed, they are not able to shaman in rooms?

I think part of the fun of the game is that you're thrown into it without really knowing what's going on, so not everyone is at the same skill level. It might be nice to have some sort of small guide for basic skills (anchoring, spawning objects, what each object does) but it seems best to learn by experience and watching others

The thing with this 'training course' is how are you going to determine what the 'proper shaman techniques' are? There are many ways to solve problems, some orthodox, some unorthodox. Having a specific training would kind of stifle the player's own creative side on how to solve the problem. Sure the training course can tell the beginning shamans on what each object does and how to use nails, but that can also be found in the help button.
To be fair, it is nice to try and figure things out on your own because you can mess around with builds that you arent sure are going to work or not, but as Soakitup said, "it's best to learn by experience and watching others".

This. I learned to shaman by observing the moves of the more experienced shamans when I was new. On difficult maps, I would watch how the shaman did it and soak it in, also I sometimes develop techniques of my own.

I support.

Yes, there is a help button. But do you really think noobs will know how to find it? I don't see why they shouldn't just add a short tutorial on shamming.

Most new players wouldn't know about the help button, anchors, or maybe even the chatbox.
Maybe a short tutorial for anchors and which items do which?

I think tht this suggestion should be fused together with improving tutorial as overall, but to make it its own separate section is unneeded. /half support

there should be a small tutorial for this e. g. how to spawn items and anchors but not like a lot of it bc that would be no fun if you get what i'm saying /halfsupport

Basics should only be taught as apart of the already existing tutorial such as; how to spawn, what is your range circle, what skills do, and a link to the help page. Everybody has to be taught the foundations of the house before they can apply their own techniques and style to finish, meaning that you have to learn how to spawn and what each individual item does before you can expect to build something great. I will half support this as long as its only basic stuff

I don't really know how to feel about this. When I was a newbie ( yes, I know that I am only around level 20 as of right now, but I had an acoount before ) ,I used to love learning from other players. But I do agree that it is annoying watching someone struggling at building until the round ends, so I guess my final decision is half support.

I disagree with the fact that they can't be the shaman until they complete the tutorial, because sometimes criticism from others is more helpful than tips or a tutorial given from the game. I learned to build when I joined simply by looking up tutorials, watching others build... and asking for help from the other players. A shaman practice tutorial for beginners would be nice if you ignored the fact that some players might not know how to find it, or know that it exists.

This idea could be added onto the short (and pretty unhelpful) tutorial that exists when you join rather than having the players find it on their own.
