Delete Badges

hello!!

i think we should be able to delete badges that we dont want displayed on our profiles anymore

First, if we mistakely delete another badge, what would you do?
Second, if you deleted a badge but you want it back, would admins restore it?

I was thinking about a little button next to the 'unlocked badges' and we could click on it, see our badges, click on the one(s) we would like to hide (yourself and others won't see on profile). This is what i want ;)

If you're talking about fur badges, there's this suggested topic where it allows you to disable them. But any other badges.. if you want to delete them then why did you get them?

1.) this is not about removing badges entirely from the game if thats what you guys thought
2.) im mostly referring to badges from events which leads me to one reason why we should be able to remove them
a few years back i participated in the easter event, simply trying to earn some titles i wanted
little did i know that id be getting a badge for it even though i didnt really want one
3.) now if you were to delete a badge, a message along the lines of "are you sure that you want to do this?" would pop up and youd have to confirm your deletion
i dont think one would want their badge back if they confirmed the deletion of the badge of their choice

if deleting a badge sounds too much for you, hiding them instead would be a good alternative, wouldnt it?

I agree with both. Deleting them may be a choice that many users could end up regretting in the future.

I'll go ahead and Half-Support this. However, I'll change that to a Support if we can have the option to hide it instead of / alongside of deleting them.

Deleting them is a step too far, but if we have the option to hide some of them that would be nice.

if we let this playerbase be allowed to toggle one thing on or off on their profile they will want/expect to be able to toggle other things too. Yes it will start with " i want to hide this badge" then move to "i want to hide these ugly progress bars i never use" and roll right onto "i want to hide my shitty stats!" your profile should be un-editable when it comes to stats or awards. and if A801 goes for anything but zero-tollerance when it comes on what game-mechanic-related-content to hide on the profile, they deserve all the backlash they get
