Map 81 Suggestion |

We all know of map 81 in the vanilla game mode. The admins had an update recently to where the shaman cannot do a glitch using the ESC key to stop or pause the anti-gravity from happening anymore which is a huge struggle for divine players. A few updates before they got rid of the ESC key glitch, they added a small, cloud square to help the shamans out which didn't turn out like they'e hoped. A few times I have seen divine shamans not use the square at all, because it does not help that much at all during the build. So after playing map 81, I've come up with a suggestion for it. Map 81 ![]() With the newly added Physicist skill tree, there aren't many skills that you could consider 'useful' in any way. However, there is a skill on the Physicist skill tree that will cause an anti-gravity effect called Gravitational Anomaly that will rid the map of gravity for a few seconds. My suggestion for map 81 is to allow the skill Gravitational Anomaly to counteract map 81's gravity effect for the given amount of time you have on that skill. With this suggestion in place, shamans can summon this skill to counteract the map's gravity for the number of times the shaman has on that skill. natrats a dit : Did it not turn out how the admins have hoped, or how shamans with divine mode (who suddenly can't cheat on this map anymore) have hoped? If this suggestion is implemented, the whole point of this map will be negated. The reverse gravity is why this map is difficult, if you can undo this gravity there is nothing left that makes this map challenging. The anti-gravity was never meant to be evaded with the ESC glitch, so with that fixed the gameplay idea of this map has returned to it's original form. Sure, it makes it much harder for divine mode shamans, but really, isn't that what divine mode is for? Dernière modification le 1463386320000 |

@Anythin I definitely understand and respect where you're coming with your answer however I found that most divine shamans would most rather in fact, skip the map all entirely, than to try to build a successful way across it. Anythin a dit : You could take this either way depending on your view of the situation. The admins after adding the cloud probably expected (I have no proof of this statement but a mere guess) the cloud to be used more as an aid to divine mode shamans, but found out that it is not in fact, being used at all. On the divine shaman's side, you could argue that the shaman players would expect a more stable way of building on that map with success. Anythin a dit : You're correct but I have yet to see a good, solid and stable solution being used to build on this map at all using divine. The point of this suggestion is only to allow the skill be used as long as the shaman has set the time on the map, not actually eliminating the map's gravity at all. With the extra given time, it would allow divine mode shamans to have a little 'bit more breathing room to build. |

Natrats a dit : Here's an easy solution I came up with on that map a few days ago. Put an invisible balloon under the cloud ground, then put an invisible box with the balloon connected in the middle of the box. Then put a plank in between the box with the balloon and the cloud ground. This should be a stable build for divine if done correctly. If you do not want the plank to fall back to the ground when gravity returns, then put more invisible boxes until it reaches the earth ground to stop it from falling and interfering with firsts (depending if you are in a big room). Natrats a dit : Some solutions have been posted here, which don't even require the use of the block. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() So with that in mind, there are plenty of ways to get saves, which means there is no need to alter the map at all. |

or just add another small cloud box to map 81 |

Shadowtrophy a dit : I agree with this. I don't see why a specific kind of shaman should get this ability, even if it replaces our 'Anti-Gravity' skill. |
