What kind of skill is the most useful?

Depends, but in general, I'd choose Spiritual Guide.
What's best for YOU depends on how you are as a shaman.

• Spiritual Guide helps you collect more saves.

• Wind Master helps you move around the map easier and get the job done quick.

• Wildling is like, taking precaution and ensures safety easier. Like, prevents slipping off a plank on accident. It's not as useless as many people think it is; I feel the skill tree Wildling is underestimated. Wilding onced saved me when I was shaman. Really.

• The other two (Mechanic, Physicist) increase the quality of builds and make it easier to build, aswell as making them more stable and safe.

So, depending on the situations and your weaknesses/strengths in being a shaman, see which ones could patch up your weakness and help you generally improve as a shaman. Also, which skill tree seems to embrace your strengths?

I do honestly like Physicist, due to it helping me around the map (using Mad Scientist and Grapnel) and it helps me build both quicker and easier.
Plus, I love using the Big Plank, Antigravity, and the Restorative powers to build a boat.

For me it's Mechanic and Physicist. They're both really good in divine and make it much more easier for me to sham.

Wind master. I was gonna choose between widling and wind master, but in widling there is that cannon ball skill. I think it ssucks so yesa.

Honestly, I would not go as far out and say which is the best and which is the worst(bubbles).
It pretty much just bowls down on what you use the most and what helps you the most due to the way you play
(So,pretty much what Sabzra said)
