I don't even know how to start...

I started playing few months after the game launch, in 2010. Back there the game was so simple, you only had to jump a few holes, get help from shaman and bring back the cheese, walljump didn't even existed if i remember correctly :c.

After a few days playing it easily became my favorite game, I couldn't stop playing it, I felt so addicted that I couldn't stop thinking on how to improve my gameplay, how to became faster, how to build things as a shaman better and faster. I was loving the game :)

Played for a few months, made a lot of friends, learned a new language (yes, I learned everything I know about english playing this game ^-^) but it felt like I was losing some friends because I was really competitive, I always wanted to bring back the cheese first, to save more mice... So I made an important decision, I simply wouldn't care if I didn't get that first, I wouldn't care if I couldn't save every mice, I just wanted to have more fun with my friends. And that's when I really started to enjoy more the game.

After some years, more precisely in 2013 I joined in highschool, I had no time to play like I had before. I used to wake up at 6 AM to go to school and only came back at 4 PM, I was really busy with school that I couldn't even think about the game anymore :(.

In 2014 I was enjoying the game again ^-^, then I wanted to contribute more with the game, everytime I had money (~10 dollars) I bought fraises, created a few threads with suggestions (and one of them was added to the game *-*), answered questions on the Q&A thread and etc... But I wanted more, I wanted to be a moderator or a sentinel on the forums, but there was one problem, I was only 17 years old :(, So I told to myself that I would wait one more year to apply. And then I waited... but the game didn't felt like the same back there in 2010, it was so different, new items, custom maps everywhere (back then I didn't have a good to computer to run the game at full FPS :c)

That's when I wasn't enjoying Transformice anymore :(. After a few months I moved to another game, came back only a few times to say hello to my friends but I never really came back to the game =/.

Now I'm 19 years old, I've been playing LoL for one year already and I'm really enjoying it so far ^o^, logged in to say hello and find out changed, the game is simply not the same anymore, it used to be so simple and easy, but it now looks like a different game to me.

Welp, I'm really not coming back to this game anymore, maybe only to visit and say hi for a few friends (the majority of them are also not playing this anymore T_T). I hope you all keep enjoying TFM, the developers deserve it. Good bye and sorry for the long text ;-;

its a shame you don't really like the game that much but who can say you can or can't enjoy it if you don't enjoy it like you used to. I wish you luck in the future

I don't know anyone that plays for the actual game anyway. Most people just log on to socialize, the cheese gathering and mini-games just make it so you don't get bored.

I started in 2011 and I'm pretty certain WJ was a thing by then, dunno about 2010.

Edited to add: It's obvious that the game won't feel as good anymore, it loses its charm of playing for the first time after a while. It also changed quite a lot, but I don't think it changed to worse. Maybe your nostalgia glasses just see the 2010 version as superior, even though the game and community might be better now. c:

Yeah I totally know how you feel, I never play the normal rooms anymore cuz they've changed so much and are pretty boring now. Tfm doesn't seem to understand the beauty of simplicity like Apple does, so I see this game going downhill.

Ah who knows, this generation is full of games, the real question is, how long can the game last for, I use to play lego factory a few years ago but that closed down and so did other games I use to play, it's real sad how much progress a game makes then it closes down.

Focus more on your studies and I wish you luck in the schooling.
