Ok so I have this friend who is able to walljump on wood by only pressing up and forward, and didn't jump off the wall at all. I've also seen two other people do it on a survivor map. Is this a bug? A hack? A glitch? |

ujosiipi a dit : Huh??? I just tried this and it's not working on wood???? Maybe the wood has high friction? (Not the default wood) |

Yeah it just depends on the area between the mouse and the wood You should leave some space when you jump and then you go forward but the normal wall jump is faster. |

Maybe the friction of the wood makes it work? |

featherwater a dit : This. Friction on wood may be possibly increased; or they're on a chocolate ground. However there is another method of walljumping that is similar to how the creator described it, but is quicker and you need quick finger movements. |

It's a frame related thing |

I think it might have something to do with friction. It's easy to W-J like that on chocolate ground.. |

To be honest, I just think this has something to do with lag, just my hypothesis. |

Can't shamans get a skill to make wood "sticky"? |

It's a client based bug. If you are running the game at best performance under specific conditions, you are able to do this. It's impossible in lag. I can't tell you what the "specific conditions" are; but for example, my computer that has far better performance in terms of specs can't do this bug but my old, less powerful computer can. Both run tfm at optimal frame rates. This bug seems to occur because the hit box of the wood is imperfect. The wood applies a speed based resistance to your speed when you are in contact with it. Along with this, there are sometimes extremely tiny nooks in the wood that can only be grabbed if you are travelling slowly enough (think about this as a less extreme form of chocolate ground; the mouse can grab onto it and remain stuck in place). So this is why this trick allows the mouse to climb. Dernière modification le 1465444620000 |
