Have you ever dreamt of having weekly events ? Something that put you in competition against you and all the other players ?

Transformice Cheese Run Event is exactly what you need !

Ever since I joined Transformice I've been attracted to the monthly events organized for us. These events ensured that the community would stay active and give more purposes and goals to the game.

Although these events increase the amount of active players I always thought that more could be done for the game. While thinking about it, I figured an easy but well organized way to create weekly scheduled events for the community called Transformice Cheese Run Event !

If you have any feed back or tweaks to my idea, i'm pleased to hear them ! /support or not ?

Gameplay

The game consist of two rounds, one that's public and one that's private.

Round 1

First off, whoever is online would have to answer a random question to get to the second round. Through the pink messages in the chat the question will be asked. Whoever replies the fastest will be selected to complete the last round of the run.

But how can we know the first one that answered the question ? Here are some ideas :

The first one to whisper X with the right answer is selected.
The first one to go to /room X and say the answer out loud is selected.

This way, the answer and the person answering it will be 100% accurate. The whispering part can either be sent to a mod or anyone responsible enough to handle the part. Each time someone is selected to the second round, his/her name would be announced through pink messages to receive congratulations.

Round 2

After being selected in the first round, all the winners would be sent to a private room. The second round consist of the same thing as the first one, but the one who wins the majority of the questions would be the winner. If a ties occurs, one last question would be the tie-breaker.

The number of questions asked for both rounds depends on how much players would be allowed to play the game. A number of 10 questions could be the least but more could be asked if we're looking for a bigger event.

Winning Prize

Although I'm in no way to select the prize for winning, I think giving cheese or fraises could be a nice reward. Nothing too big but at least a reasonable amount.

If this idea gets serious, it could be nice to have titles or maybe badges attached to winning or being selected in the first & second round. I don't know if adding titles is a hard thing to do but this would surely be enjoyed by the community

I have no clue if the creators can give fraises or cheese for free, if this event would actually cost money to the creators if they give cheese, but I really think having weekly events like this would increase the amount of players and diversify the activities available to the community. If giving a winning prize is too much, I think just having a new event to entertain the players is a needed addition. The winner can be announced through the pink messages and everybody could congratulate him/her.

*The name of the event could be changed if the player wins fraises instead of cheese.

Organization

Although this seems like an easy task to organize, this would take people to write the questions, correct them & announce them.

I don't know if it would be possible to create a squad like the Fashion squad that collaborates with the people behind Transformice to make it happen. A serious team would need to organize the events, divide each tasks required and make it happen.

Themed Questions

Although we could keep the fun in general questions for everybody, I think it should be noted that having theme Cheese Run Event would be way more fun for the community.

Imagine questions about popular movies, books, tv shows and everything in between ! General questions are fun but having a subject that's funnier is way more entertaining. There could also be history themed run, science theme run and more !

Thank you ! It looks very complicated but I used to play a game and they'd do exactly like I explained. It it was really funny to have something like that come around every week !

It's a good idea but some people can not type or read as fast as others, also perhaps the type of event could change each week?? This could give different players a better chance to win. On another note; isn't this called a trivia?? Or have I got the wrong idea??

Yeah the name could always change ! I just didn't really see any name fit for Transformice else than Cheese Run ! But the game I used to play who would do this event would change subject every week and it was randomly chosen by the team behind the event.
The subject wasn't set in stone so it would be a surprise every time. For the ''not typing fast enough'' well it's a thing that everybody is able to learn as much as playing Transformice and being able to get in the hole with the cheese !
