What do you guys think the zombie mode will be like? Some info to help you think: - In their livestream, atelier801 mentioned that the zombie mode is quite beautiful. They are possibly talking about landscapes. - In the recent update, clips are now restricted, and you can kill other players to obtain supplies from them. - Tigrounette mentioned that the blood is a bug from the zombie mode update, suggesting the blood might be exclusive to the zombie mode. I agree with you on the infection mode, which I think is what they are planning or some sort of round where you are given an amount of time to fight off zombies who approach you and protect some sort of base. |

I hope they do Point A to Point B, where NPC zombies are in the way, and you work as a team to shoot them off. Anyone who gets infected/bitten will turn into a zombie. And to make it so the playable zombies won't just kill themselves, they can get a potato for every person they infect. Also, if they were going to add a backstory or something to why they have to get from Point A to Point B, there could be an escape helicopter or something at Point B which will fly off after a certain amount of time. I've always felt it will be infection. I would like an infection mode where there's also a secondary objective, however this might make it more complicated than it needs to be =p More zombie graphics: Zombies on Fortoresse Wiki. Heads may not be on right bodies, postures are probably incorrect and are just set to use the player stance. |

I'm hoping for Forto's first event. Maybe Halloween where players can set up boards and the sort in special areas where it's highlighted (like in capture/defend the flag), but they need to stay there for a while until it hits 100%. Of course it'll be quicker than capture/defend the flag. Those boards prevent zombies from getting in unless if they attack and break through it, it could be useful for getting time to heal up or reload. Just a small suggestion. |

Make the zombies pop up from the ground/block or drop from sky randomly. and the zombie can jump up the ramp or go down the cliff block. The block (grey block) you created in-game will be destroyed by zombie if it go through. And because the current map is 2D with no standard route, it's better to have flying AI zombies going to the closest soldier. The AI zombie is same speed as soldier. If you get bitten by zombie, your HP lose slowly (1HP/sec) and HP can't restore by medic kit and there has a tube flashing with a 20 second count down telling you to use a perk called vaccine (30sec reload). The vaccine can only used by yourself if you have bought the perk, you can't share it. if you can't use a vaccine before the count down, then you will become zombie and you can bite your teammate or opposite team. The bite is just a touch, you and the zombie will stick together and you can't move around before the zombie is killed. The zombie is dragging your clothes and you have to kill the zombie before you can use the vaccine perk. Anyone can help you by shooting the zombie and the zombie has like 30-40 HP. When you have become zombie, you can't capture flag and you can't use gun and perks. And the zombie can appear in VIP/Flag capture map. Maybe it's because I've been influenced by watching animes but it would be cool if it was to be more like a dungeon sort of thing ? Like you could enter with a group of people and fight off waves of zombies? I don't know how that would work and it probably will change the game, but it's just my imagination... :x |

If they could create an intelligent enough AI, that would be cool, and also be something that would make Fortoresse more original from their other games. I also would love to pick up drops from slain zombies, but as a programmer I'd love to see how the AI would be implemented. My guess however is an infection mode, as it's something that's already been done, adds more player interaction / roles, and keeps it from just becoming another domination. |

Just know in Halo games the AI don't need pathfinding if she carry a melee weapon, just an enemy to attack (able to follow me out of map due to a loading fail) . I think the zombie AI is like the ghost in TFM in Halloween. The pathfinding AI is quite complex.The path will be vary by players conjured dots and grounds.If the player is conjured above them,they need to able to jump high enough to get there.Also if I conjure around myself with a circle,there is no path to get me,hence they need to able to break dots. Another possible way is make a base for zombie,the base is similar with player base but bigger area.Hence that you can't block them or hiding somewhere with dots and shoot zombies.
