Grenades are / were at one point (it seems) planned to be released as seen on the trello. Both of these have been suggested on the suggestions thread multiple times I believe as well (or at least on the multiple weapon-related threads). Edit: (suggestion) Since this thread seems very specific, you may wish to expand on how you think they should work, possibly issues they could cause (and possible solutions), balancing issues, and other info to support the discussion value of this thread. Also keep in mind Atelier 801 appears to be focusing their attention on Dead Maze and Transformice, so any big changes should be considered in terms of what they add to the game versus something else, so really selling everyone on the pros of this could help. No to bazookas. I'd imagine grenades would be possible by using the same physics as the dropped medic kits and the clips. A timer has to be attached to them though. |

Bazookas, probably not. The spam of C4 and mainly mines is already causing explosions left and right. Grenades would be different, as said above, perks don't move (excluding the shelter perk) nor do they do any direct damage. Grenades, in my opinion, should be a secondary. You don't see too many people use secondaries all that often unless it's an uzi to dig and break blocks. There are only a handful of people I see who use secondaries as weapons, so adding grenades as a replacement for those people seems about right. You'd just need to add some sort of trajectory and physics to that throw, the typical arc thing. Considering it is an object it should also be able to be blocked by conjuration, but that's just a bit iffy considering there are conj blocks everywhere in every map. |
