Welcome to trap. As a mouse your main goal is to not get trapped by the shaman. As the shaman must trap all the mice in the room (Build a cage to trap mice)

How exactly is the shaman going to "trap" the mice? How will the module detect when a mouse has been trapped?

You could maybe detect the locations of the mice every few sec. And if they are around the same x,y coordinates they would be considered trapped. But then again, that would mean the mice always have to be on the move.

But to solve that issue, when they are trapped, they could get some x and y speed that makes them shoot to 2 directions, and that means if he was standing still by themselves they would be somewhere else, but if they were inside a box for example they would pretty much be on the same location.

Maybe you could add traps you make or select others in a different menu likt how the totem room is now replacing the shaman items exept for spirit slot.

It's incredibly hard to code this sort of thing, because there are so many variables. Just see, if you build a random build of planks that just happen to trap a mouse, then how will the engine detect that? Maybe a certain item like ice will work, with a radius of course.
