  • Super Advanced Pro Racing Guide

After the success of my Survivor Shaman Guide I decided to do this. A complete guide for racing that covers all you need to do to be a pro. I hope it helps a lot of people!

Racing facts
You must take off everything to reduce any lag as much as possible.
Titles, guest names, other mice outfits, music, sounds, particle effects and your nickname must all be off to reduce any lag possible.
You must use /watch to not mistake your mice with anyone else's.
You must buy the fastest internet you can find.

You must live in Paris, France where the servers are so your ping is as low as possible. Book your one-way flights:
http://www.malaysiaairlines.com/my/en.html
http://www.flightcentre.co.nz/
http://www.houseoftravel.co.nz/

Practice makes perfect
I suggest joining racing as soon as possible and start practicing pro skills such as corner jumping and become a master at it.
You must spend as much time as possible in racing and in no time you will be familiar and comfortable with all the racing maps.

Feel free to correct any mistakes and suggest improvements.

Advanced guide for anyone who has mastered all the skills in the regular guide.

You must forget everything except breathing and memorizing how to optimally do all 1500+ maps in the racing rotation normally and in reverse.
You must only going in the hole when you're first to mislead your stats and to fool your opponents into thinking you're better than your actual skill level, in hope of discouraging you opponents.

Please thank Betelgueze for these advanced tactics.
Feedback and suggestions are welcome, this guide is only in the beginning stages and I feel it needs a lot more advice.

Super advanced guide only for the most outstanding racers who have taken advantage of all the advice in the first two guides.

You must blame your ping every time you lose, even if it was by 2 seconds. That way people will think you're only losing because your ping is lame and it can't be helped, not because you were outplayed by a true pro who has mastered all the strategies in this guide. Works 50% of the time every time!

Another super-advanced tip is to make Youtube videos of you getting firsts. Just remember to never show the times when you lose, use really wonky color corrections and nauseating zooms in Sony Vegas and slap a generic dubstep track on top of the abomination. The less actual gameplay you show, the better it is! If your video causes epileptic seizures even in persons who do not have epilepsy, you've done a good job and your status as a pro racer is guaranteed.

Please thank Prr for these amazing tips!

Additionally, there are also advanced methods such as:

  • Forgetting everything except breathing and memorizing how to optimally do all 1500+ maps in the racing rotation normally and in reverse.
  • evel otar
  • Stat deception; only going in the hole when you're first to mislead your stats and to fool your opponents into thinking you're better than your actual skill level.

Overall fantastic guide, I'll be gladly looking forward to your highly anticipated Pro Bootcamp Guide!

lol what's the point of affording a ticket to france just to reduce your ping? there are other cheaper ways to do this though but i guess you have your reasons, and i can respect that :o

i like this guide, i bet it'll help other people who struggle at racing/lack a variety of skills, good job working on it

Also remember to blame it on ping when you lose, even if it was by 2 seconds! That way people will think you're only losing because of your ping and not because of your lack of skill. Works 50% of the time every time!

I think it's worth mentioning that the servers are hosted in Paris, so you'd get a lower ping if you were there, not in Lille.

Protip. If you're not allowed to speak in a server and somebody keeps beating you. Just remember to praise him with #lixowhisper, trades on every map and off course report him. The spotlight you give him is the best appreciation.

He he's really that good. Don't forget to add after the whispers a "pro add" spam

oman this is actually really funny.
tips though, to be a pro racer u needa set ur dp as a screenshot of u winning another pro (or popular) racer e.g. aeon. if u didn't win them, u can also choose to set ur dp as a man with tattoos smoking that would work too.
