Tfm Causing Accumulating Lagspikes Since The Fishing Event

I have been having odd lagspikes and much more memory being possessed by Flash Player of Transformice since the Fishing event has started.

by turning on /ips, you see (number) mo, which means memory allocation to Transformice. I have discovered that it increases by 1 to 5 MB almost every time new round starts, or random moments. This continuosly occurs and it reaches to 1000 by playing about two hours in a regular room.

Also, it generates terrible lagspikes that accmulate and accumulate, retarding your gameplay.
I find this very annoying. I had changed no settings at all so far. I thought it was just me, but it was not. Several friends of mine have told me they have been having much more lag, or many more crashes on their standalone. Thus, I regard this bug to be Transformice's problem.

None of the following things will affect/relate this bug.
- Mice with a variety of clothes being loaded every round are not the cause because it occurs even in bootcamp rooms (even disabling displaying mice's clothes in other words)
- Enabling Minimalist mode or Automatic optimaztions is of no use. Lagspikes never stop accumulating and accumulating.
- Hardware acceleration seems to have nothing to do with it.

This is completely true. My friend told me he was lagging since the Fishing event started too, and Ykr doesn't complain about something if it's not really serious, i hope Tigrounette replies to this thread apologizing for the inconveniences.

Events and big art maps already cause me to lag out often because of my slow internet, which is less than 1% of the national average. And now I'm just crashing instead.

i have been experiencing this also, with my memory allocated to the game almost doubled since the introduction of the new event.

Bumping since it STILL exists.

I've been getting lag spikes for about a year now, but switching to loading http://transformice.com/TransformiceChargeur.swf on Flash projector solved the problem for me. Not sure if it's going to work in your case though.

If you are having problems with this, either get a new/stronger wifi connection (try ethernet cable) or install latest updates for the game/computer (memory card, graphics card, etc.)
If no use do the settings to turn off mice outfits and particles and stuff. That helped me out.
If still no use I don't what I can do to help other than to not play. (To not play is the last option)

You don't undestand the problem. Type /ips when you are playing and watch the numbers. Your memory allocation (MO) goes up every map. around 800 it becomes difficult to wall jump. Your game will crash before it gets to 1900. It doesnt matter what settings you change. Its a problem with the game that needs to be fixed.

Really disappointed that this bug has not yet been looked into. It is clear that most people have been experiencing this. Some of them including me have been unable to play Transformice comfortably because of it.

This bug is caused by Transformice's update done since the day the Fishing event started, NOT by certain browsers, standalones, Flash Player's update, many different PC's nor Internet connections!

This does need to be fixed.
