I saw one news website post that TFM will be shut down on December 1st, 2020. Is this true?

Do we have official confirmation of this though? I just want to know from someone who would actually know.

Unless it was announced by the admins that it will shut down, which it wasn't, then no it will not shut down. However, Flash will be obsolete by December 2020 which means the game will only be available on standalones.

It has been said that the game will simply become standalone-only.

There's Transformice.exe and Transformice on Steam, so it won't shut down.

As said before, Transformice will not shut down in December 2020. The game still will work via Standalone, only being unavailable to play at the Browser.
