If you are not always on, and you're running a contest, party, or group, but there is more than one person leading or hosting, then I think you should be able to add more people to be able to edit the OP. This could keep things more efficient and organized. Any thoughts from you guys?

This could only work if the name of the editor showed and if it were able to tell who did what as well so the OP wouldn't be blaimed for any trolling attempts.

Mewly a dit :
This could only work if the name of the editor showed and if it were able to tell who did what as well so the OP wouldn't be blaimed for any trolling attempts.

Thus; implement this as a part of it. Staff and the thread's editors should be able to see the edit history with a button on the side

Also you need to implement a system such that once someone is editing a post, it can't be edited by other users (to prevent stupid overwriting). Could be a pop-up saying "This post is locked for editing by XXXXX" when the edit button is tried to be pressed.

As long there's a message saying that someone edited the op then it's fine
but I think it should be the creators choice if they should allow others to edit the OP

No, it's you who have to choose to who you give right to edit your thread (OP), it's like if you click on the parametres button and then you click on editors , so a box shows-up, and there you can write the usernames of the people that you want give them right to be able to edit your thread! and i support Ruta's idea !
