Survivor Etiquette

Don't you believe that people that work hard to use cannons as an advantage to reach a good spot, something proffesional? Sometimes the map posistions are favoring shamans where as the mice have no chance to survive, except to hug the cannon spawn.

Maybe the people on the bottom don't have the skill to do so too. You should also add a rule about not complaining, I see mice often crying over type kills. Why? It's their fault they typed.

Other techniques I hate:

Spawn hugging. You know when the shaman is above you, and he has to spawn the downward cannons, the mice keep running away which would seem impossible for the shaman to hit us? Ugh.

Blocking. When the shaman builds planks where it is just a time ticking death trap. I mean seriously, how is it fun to just kill mice when they have no chance at all?

Well if you want a proper translation, it's when someone purposely gets the mouse to type, just so the shaman can kill him.
However, people are using it more loosely these days. Now, basically, a "type kill" is when they type on their own accord, but end up dying in the process.

I played Survival for the first time earlier today and I saw so much of this I was almost tempted to tell them to go read the dang post because it was so annoying. Soooo much favoritism.

Firstly drag spawning can be faster than hotkeys, depends who's doing it however.

I don't care about being aimed, and without aiming at people for time then it'd be impossible to clear the map cause it doesn't give people time to move around and get their HEAD IN DA GAME. I also like shams that box because it removes the nubs that can't box jump, same with blocking and that. Decent people will survive it.

Huggers are also not an issue if you don't suck, they're easier to kill without meep, that just fucks shit up.

However, I think fake spawning is more annoying and less skillful than anything else around :)

mice in large numbers.

Thirdly: This topic is to inform mice what not to do and what to do in Survivor. In time, they will follow it, as they see

Yes,I agree except for the part of spawn hug.
Take a look at this map @1388662,at the beginning you are already in the spawn area,the map is just like indicates that you can spawn hug.

yeah, you can deem it as an excause
when someone say type kill,it's mostly the truth,but it could also be an excuse.Why do you type when you know shaman is going to kill you?

Well,I'm completely opposite with you.
I think using hotkeys is faster than drag spawn.

About aiming,I don't not disagree nor agree. it's quite complex to clearly define how is aiming.

Huggers is also an issue if they are not suck.Mostly not one can hug me,but I rarely encounter some huggers that are pro,whatever you do to fly away,they do the same,and we land on the same place.

I like using fake spawn.It also need skill.As pros start being immune to fake spawn.If you just respawn at the same location,they usually survived.When and where to respawn should have be consider.

At least in the sight of Map crew,they don't tend to forbid spawn hug.If they do,such maps will not be chosen.Or they will adjust the mouse spawn point to somewhere.
Just like hugging,they dislike it,so you see no maps that mice can hug shaman in a short time,except for one map.@289932

btw,I still think hotkey is faster.hold down1/2/3,press the mouse,hands up then press,hands up then press....
but drag spawn can nearly compare with hotkeys,hence that in *s some ppl always complain shaman a hotkey noob,in fact he isn't.

Another thing is the maps they have to be so "beutiful and complex" to make it rather than serve the maps purpose it ends up killing everyone

All of the things in this thread are making me explode because I agree with almost everything. If there's one thing I hate about survivor; IT'S, GOD, DAMN, SPAWN, HUGGERS. The ones who think it's a good idea to walk straight in front of every cannon I spawn also tug on my heartstrings in a pretty terrible way. I could let out a ton of rage in this comment. D:
