If you'd like to know me more, below are my deepest and darkest secrets.
Want to attempt to get a grasp on the Bakaba code of conduct?
AGREEABLE INTERNET LAW
1. Nobody, to very few exceptions, should ever be permitted to embarrass themselves or others without being reprimanded for the action so as to prevent such incidents from happening again. One who truly is working to not be a useless poster should work to understand and adeptly opt into the environment they wish to begin posting in.
2. Users who find themselves in predicaments and situations of real life or the internet must be convinced their problems do not need to be voiced to those who cannot help them. It is a recurring issue and one that only produces negative action. I will always be open for real talk, however, to those whom request.
3. Respect is to be earned, and every user shall be granted a single chance and warning on their conduct before being evaluated as a good or bad user. Any sexual orientation, gender, race, age, alignment to fandom, typing quality, hobbies or beliefs shall be respected until evidence shows the user in question is incapable of holding their ideals maturely or act in extreme fashion.
4. Nobody deserves to be insulted or discredited until there is irrefutable evidence that the user in question is deliberately working to hinder or embarrass themselves or others without proper reasoning or viable excuse for their behavior. There are no 'accidents' when providing your posts to the web is an optional experience, making all posts the user in question's responsibility.
5. Shit-posting, or the continuous making of discreditable, unfunny, incriminating or made for the purpose of being random posts, is to be kept to the bare minimum. Attempting to make ironic shit-posts is unironically not funny. There is no excuse for failing to abide by this guideline, as everyone regardless of situation should be capable of the general application of socially acceptable conduct and common sense, even where disabilities apply, as you should be aware of your environment and the conduct that is expected. Act as you would in real life.
6. Do not lie about sexual orientation, gender, race, age, alignment to fandom, typing quality, hobbies or beliefs. Forcing yourself to fit in with other individuals will lead to a distasteful attitude, disposition or modification of genuine beliefs over the course of your exposure to these groups. Always be unique, as nobody shall care for this information if you act like a responsible user or the aggressive third party is a shit-poster.
7. Never engage in arguments or conversations on topics you aren't willing to learn about or do not understand, as it will only lead to self embarrassment or derailing of the topic.
8. Sensitivity towards what you may perceive as "offensive" will not be tolerated. Your views are one of many and not all parties must be sated to reach a positive atmosphere. Certain jokes and topics are agreeable to be taboo subjects (i.e. posts intended to be insulting over humorous), yet encouraging the limitation of speech is incomprehensibly abhorrent. Learn and adjust to the concept of "I acknowledge your beliefs, but I don't respect them." and leave the site of discussion if you find it unappealing to your tastes.
9. No groups or coalitions for any purpose that actively wish to enforce their values or beliefs in irrelevant environments will not be tolerated. Existing is acceptable, yet actively pushing forward to announce your presence and beliefs is suggested to be kept at a minimum.
10. Never act or pretend as if your actions that don't concern others matter. Announcing ignores/mutes/silences/bans/reports, length of post read (outside of tl;dr), or any statistical information on your actions that aren't consistent with relevant conversations you may have should be disregarded as a personal matter and not brought up. Nobody cares.
