I am a dandelion. An annoyance to some, a weed to many. But to that little girl, I am the most majestic blooming flower that flourishes in that magical kingdom that is her backyard. To that boy, I am the fierce fighter that knocks out all my foe and expands my reign across the lawn. To that broken soul, I am hope, a wish to give them life. They will forget me soon, the horror of this spreading weed will overcome them, but for now I am the most beautiful thing they have yet to encounter. I may be forgotten, but in someone's eyes, I am beautiful, I am meaningful, and I am cherished. I am a dandelion. By those of innocent, pure heart, I am loved. I have not changed, I am the same flower, the same fighter, and the same hope you once cherished, so tell me, why have you changed in such a way you have forgotten? Why have you changed in hatred over magic? Why have you traded those smiles for tears? Why do you see things so differently, so poorly?
