Hello there, and welcome to this beautiful thread that we shall call "The Alot Thread". If you guys are wondering "What is an Alot, what the world is she talking about?", it is a monster that someone on a blog created. It is to have a fun joke, to the word "alot". Many people use this grammatical error alot. (hey see what i did there?)

SO IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT THE HELL AN "ALOT" IS, HERE YOU GO:



That, is an alot. Now, basically, this all started when someone thought "lets make a cute joke out of people saying alot." Personally, to me, it is cute, and it DOES HELP PEOPLE WITH SPELLING A LOT.

Now, some of you may have seen some of us "alotomaniacs" in the EN chat thread, using the Alot to our advantaged. Okay, we've been bashed for it. We're just making a joke out of a thing that we like. There's no harm to Alot, it's just a fun way to remember that it's actually a lot, and not alot.

But, considering I don't typically like when spam posts come in with pictures, it's okay. I think the person who made it is really funny and can capture true funny errors. I like that person; but when it's overposted, eh.

I think the "your" and "you're", or "there", "their", and "they're" are more used incorrectly than 'a lot'. But heck, the whole internet is filled with messed up things.
